THE YEAR 2019

The Prime Minister of Jamaica The Most Honorable Andrew Holness, O.N., M.P. Visit to Atlanta - Jamaican Chamber of Commerce of Atlanta (JAMCHAM) Awards Banquet - April 20, 2019.

FEELING HUMBLED & BLESSED. On Saturday, April 20, 2019, I attended the Jamaican Chamber of Commerce of Atlanta (JAMCHAM) Awards Banquet. This was an awesome event. Also, a humbling experience for me is just looking back at so many cherished moments in my life growing up in Jamaica from birth.

It was truly an honor for our practice Center For Pain And Rehab Medicine to be recognized as one of the best Caribbean businesses. Also, I was able to meet our Prime Minister of Jamaica The Most Honorable Andrew Holness, O.N., M.P. and presented him with a copy of one of my new books The Opioid Epidemic Consumers & Healthcare Guide. In addition, our Jamaican Ambassador of the United States, Her Excellency Audrey Marks (a frequent visitor to Atlanta) was also presented with a copy of my book.

About nine (9) years ago I had the honor of hosting a private function (thanks Joan Jackson, one of my go-to person who helped made that event truly special) at my home here in Atlanta in honor of former Prime Minister The Right Hon. Edward Seaga, O.N., who was so gracious, kind and as expected sharp and engaging as they come to say the lease.

It is events like these and others that keep me humble and make me want to be a difference in other people’s lives in whatever way I can.

My fellow Morant Bay High School Alumni Association Atlanta Chapter Alumni, the Atlanta Community and I as president of this Chapter look forward with great anticipation to welcoming the Hon. Dr. Fenton Ferguson MP of Eastern St. Thomas, and former Minister of Health who will be our keynote speaker at our Eight Annual Alumni Ball on September 21, 2019 (please get your tickets).

Special thanks to Dr. David Panton Chairman /CEO, Mrs. Suzette Arnold - Pres. of JAMCHAM, and their team.
Congratulations to all the honorees and nominees - well-deserved! It is my pleasure to be one of them.
